Forbes Asia hosted a private dinner for Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft and co-Chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to meet some 30 members of prominent Asia families and philanthropists from Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar and Vietnam.
The second edition of the Forbes Asia Forum: The Next Tycoons will convene some of Asia’s most outstanding next generation business leaders. The gathering will feature panel discussions that generate insights on how these leaders are taking the helm of family businesses as CEOs, practicing entrepreneurship, making strategic investments, and creating social change to better society.
Forbes Asia's "Best Under A Billion" list highlights 200 of the best small and midsized listed companies in Asia Pacific with annual revenue under $1 billion. To qualify for the selection, companies must have revenue between $5 million and $1 billion, positive net income and be publicly traded for at least a year.
Forbes Asia's "Fabulous 50" companies are the best of Asia Pacific's biggest publicly traded companies, with at least US$3 billion in annual revenue or market capitalization. Companies are selected from a pool of more than 1,200 companies and they are analyzed in several areas, including revenue, profits, return on capital, share-price movements and outlook. The result is the region's best of the best.
Asia's Power Business Women is a one day forum bringing together some of the brightest and most effective women leaders, including women who are members of Forbes' Power Women lists, to exchange ideas and strategies on issues related to business and leadership.
