Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi was appointed the President and CEO of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (“ThaiBev”) in January 2008.  Prior to this appointment, he was the Director and Executive Vice President of the Company since 2003.  ThaiBev consolidated Thailand’s leading businesses in beer and spirits into a single holding company and was later registered on the Singapore Exchange in May 2006.  Today, ThaiBev has 4 core businesses: spirits, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and food.

In addition, he also holds several executive positions in many leading companies such as Vice Chairman of Red Bull Distillery Group of Companies since 2004, Executive Director of Berli Jucker Public Company Limited since 2001, Executive Director of Beer Thai (1991) Public Company Limited and Vice Chairman of Dhospaak Co., Ltd. since 2004, Vice Chairman of Oishi Group of Companies since 2006, Executive Chairman of Oishi Group Public Company Limited since February 2011, Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Univentures Public Company Limited and Vice Chairman of Siam Food Products Public Company Limited since 2007, and Vice Chairman of the South East Group of Companies since 2008.

Thapana has also participated in many organizations in the business community. He is a committee member of The Federation of Thai Industries, The Thai Chamber of Commerce & Board of Trade of Thailand, a member of YPO-WPO, YPO International Chapter, Asia Business Council and a committee member and treasurer of Thai-Chinese Culture and Economy Association.

On social contributions, Thapana initiated the ThaiBev Thai Talent Programme to support Thai youth in developing their skills in sports, music, education as well as arts and culture. He was appointed Honorary President of Everton Youth Academy in 2009. He is also an Expert Member of the Thailand Olympic Committee, Board of Director of Mahidol University College of Music and Committee Member of the National Identity Foundation of Thailand. Recently, he took on the Presidency of the Royal Photographic Society of Thailand under the patronage of His Majesty the King of Thailand.

In 2009 he received Asia’s Best Companies 2009 for Thailand and Best CEO Award from FinanceAsia Magazine.

In 2010 he received an Asian Corporate Director Recognition Awards in the category of Thai companies for his leadership role in the Company and was awarded “Best CEO (Investor Relations)” from Corporate Governance Asia Magazine.

Thapana received his Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) and a Master of Science Administration in Financial Economics from Boston University, USA.

Thapana is the third child of Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, Chairman and Founder of TCC Group which includes Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, Berli Jucker Public Company Limited, South East Insurance Group of Company, TCC Land Company Limited, TCC Capital Company Limited and Plantheon Company Limited.

Thapana is married to Paphatchya. He is a keen golfer and enjoys playing golf with his wife and friends. He also plays soccer, tennis and snooker. Besides sports Thapana also collects paintings and antiques. But it is his keen support to the community’s young talents in sports, music, education as well as arts and culture that gives him his pride and joy.
